Francie excels at her job as a party planner, but can't say the same about love. When an obnoxious, but handsome, man approaches her in line at a Thanksgiving sale, she pushes him away like she always does. Can Francie put her fears aside and nab an early bird special, or is she destined to plan every wedding but her own?

This is a short story, approximately 8,000 words.

Hola! Happy Saturday, lovelies! I’ve got a quick review of a very cute short story for you today! While its definitely past Thanksgiving, the thought that at any time, any where, you can meet someone that makes you smile and wants to get to know you better is always something that I want to read! That said…I did read this perfect little short on it’s release day, but because I’m a slacker (not really, I promise, just SUPER busy), I haven’t caught up on sharing my reviews! So here goes.

Tracy Krimmer (who I KNOW I’ve mentioned before) and I were chatting one day and she said “I need an idea for my Thanksgiving short story.” We thought for a few, we exchanged ideas…siblings bring a friend to Thanksgiving, eyes meet…nah…Oh! Black Friday! YES! And so was born Early Bird Special. Tracy took this idea and ran with it. Turned it into something much more adorable than I would have thought of myself! A very quick read that will definitely leave you wanting more!!!

Early Bird Special is the perfect Thanksgiving short. Shopping, family, and the possibility of love.

About Tracy Krimmer

Tracy Krimmer loves coffee, popcorn, Drew Barrymore, and the movie Saving Silverman. She enjoys reading great books (of course) and writing realistic characters for you to enjoy. When she listens to music she prefers the 80s and 90s music she grew up on. In a typical day you’ll find her writing at one of her favorite spots–on the couch, at the kitchen table, or at her favorite hometown coffee shop.
